Summer seems to have arrived and plants are blooming, trees are heavy with juicy leaves and the bog has turned from golden brown to green. I always enjoy being out and about in nature and documenting the changing seasons and I have been doing just that in the recent fine weather.
This week, as well as conventional shooting, I decided to do an experiment using colour filters and multiple exposures. I loaded up the Hasselblad 500C with Fujifilm Pro160 film and went out and filled the roll with images of local flora. Without getting too technical I exposed each frame 3 times and used a different colour filter for each exposure. The results are an abstract explosion of colour. Maybe not to everyone's taste but I quite like the results.
